Jamaica has confirmed its second locally transmitted Case of Monkey pox and its 4th overall case.

The Health Ministry says the case is a locally transmitted one, which means there was no contact with the previous three confirmed cases, and there’s no travel history. The patient is isolating at home.

Meanwhile, 11 people are currently in home quarantine.

Of the confirmed cases, 2 are locally transmitted and 2 imported.
